Most advice about showing up online was written for people with unlimited energy

Most marketing advice assumes unlimited time and energy and treats consistency as a test of willpower. That fails a lot of real people, those managing chronic pain or fatigue, small charity teams doing the job of six people, or anyone exhausted by running a business and a life at once.

The common thread isn't illness, it's a shortage of time, energy and mental bandwidth, and it's more common than most marketing advice admits.

"Visibility should work with your energy, not against it."

Recognise yourself in one of these?

The Fixed-Energy Planner

Predictable but limited capacity, needs a tight, repeatable system.

The Fluctuating-Energy Realist

Capacity changes day to day because of chronic pain or fatigue, needs flexibility built in.

The Time-Poor Multi-Tasker

Not unwell, just stretched, one person doing the job of three.

The Overwhelmed Starter

Not short on time or energy exactly, short on clarity, needs fewer choices not more advice.

There's no wrong answer, and you may move between them depending on the season you're in.

Why I built this

I've run my social media business since 2012, working with small businesses and national and regional charities. I also live with chronic pain and chronic fatigue.

That isn't a footnote to my business, it's the reason it exists. I had to build a way of working that didn't demand more than I had to give.

The systems help people find me. My time is spent talking to them.

What you'll get

  • Anchor

Choosing where to show up, based on what you can actually sustain.

  • Rhythm

Four repeatable content pillars so you're never starting from a blank page.

  • Support

Simple systems and AI, used well, that protect your energy rather than replace your voice.

  • Repurpose

Turning one piece of content into several without extra effort.

  • Building relationships

Protecting your limited energy for the part no system can do.

  • Rest and review

Planned pauses built in on purpose, not just when you crash.

"The moment I stopped trying to work like everyone else was the moment my business finally started to feel like mine."

Your next gentle step

You don't need to post every day to be seen. You need a rhythm you can actually keep, on the good days and the ones that aren't. This guide shows you how.
